Default SupportCenter v2.9.9 no email.

hello.,
I am trying out Support Center v2.9.9
i set up a cron to run every minuet but nothing seems to happen.
If I go directly to the browser it only some times runs the job..

I am hosted with simplehelix.com

any one ells know how to get this set up?? or have hade this kind of problems?

Thank you for your reply. I got the cron to work, but now it is not sending any email.

I am using gmail apps for me emails

any ideas?

you should first test, if you have functional openssl exytension in your php.
Best is to run script server/test_ssl.php
It will show you if you can read mails from gmail.

OK, got that working...
now, I want to have about 5 Queues. each with a email email address.

I want that when some one sends an email to that address it will automatically go to the correct Queues.

also, can the Queue selection on the front end required

If queue is not selected in frontend, it is assigned to default queue... this can't be changed

I'm having the same problem nafnaf1000 did regarding cron. I had it set for every minute but nothing. However if I go to server/jobs.php with my browser then it works (every time). Any thoughts? I'm running Plesk9 with 1and1.com.

Your cron command is probably not set properly... Could you send an email to our support center with login information to your installation so we can check it? Or can you see some errors in Settings>Logs ?

We are having similar issues with our Mail as well related to the OpenSSL.

We moved servers recently an retried to get the mail pulled from our Exchange Server.

We get this in the Logs...

"establishing TLS connections requires the OpenSSL extension enabled"

So web Administrator checked the Host Server and it wasn't on. Fixed that and now you can see it is enabled according to the following KB Article.

"http://support.qualityunit.com/knowledgebase/supportcenter/troubleshooting/im-not-able-to-fetch-mails-from-gmail.-how-can-i-fix-this-problem.html"

Our result that it is enabled is here...

"http://www.acquiredigital.com/supportcentre/server/test_ssl.php" which gives the report that everything should be working and still we get the "establishing TLS connections requires the OpenSSL extension enabled" Error message in the logs.

What do we now need to do to get this operational.

openssl extension has to be loaded in your php (try to check it in phpinfo)
