CHECK.PHP does not gather the REF cookie !!!

Hey guys, there is a serious problem in the Free Release version for me. I think the actual version I have may be the one before 1.2, however the code corresponding to CHECK.PHP remains unchanged.

Basically the problem is... I've installed everything correctly, and affiliates can sign up/etc, and hits are tracked just fine, and show up in the stats page. However, when I send someone to the order confirmation page where I include CHECK.PHP at the top, CHECK.PHP cannot re-capture or come up with a value for REF! This is a huge problem, as I won't be able to add sales.

I really don't have a clue as to why REF can't be called up or referrenced... please help!

I replied to your email already.
This kind of problems is most probably caused by cookies - that they are not saved, or not read properly, there was a lot written about it on this forum (just search for 'cookie').
