I think your POST Affiliate Pro software looks excellent! You offer a fortune and your forum is very convenient and helpful.

I would like to know how much I can customize the POST Affiliate Pro software?

What can be changed and what can't be changed? :roll:

Also, when I buy POST Affiliate Pro - do I own the software and am I limited in how I can use the software? :roll:

And also, can POST Affiliate Pro be upgraded to serve an affiliate network? :!:

And lastly, please direct me to a popular website where POST Affiliate Pro is installed. :arrow:

Hi,

you will receive POST Affiliate Pro with full sources, so you can customize virtually everything. But this would require some level of PHP and database knowledge.

You can relatively easily customize the look, because it is template based. Changing only headers and footers, or adding/removing something from the menu is very simple.

By changing settings in GUI you can allow or restrict use of recurring commissions and set levels of multi tier commissions (up to 10).

When you buy PAP, you can modify it any way you like for your own purpose. You are not allowed to resell/or distribute any part of original source code, or use the code in another product which you will distribute.

I'm not sure what you mean by serving affiliate network, do you mean something like Commission Junction, where you'll enable merchants to create their own accounts, and have their own affiliates, etc..?
Right now system supports only one merchant, and customization to multi merchant version is very difficult.
However, we are planing to release Enterprise version with this functionality, but it will be ready not sooner than in begining of 2005.

Regarding sites that use POST Affiliate Pro - I don't check my customers popularity, so I don't know which sites are popular. POST Affiliate Pro is run on many web shops, hosting companies, adult web sites,..

Is there a specific reason for this?

Regarding the enterprise version will it be possible to upgrade from the POST Affiliate Pro version? And is there any additional info you can provide at the Enterprise version at this stage?

Hi,

some people prefer to keep the design of POST Affiliate Pro untouched, there is no special reason for this..

As for Enterprise version, there will be some way to upgrade from Pro version.
Generally, Enterprise version will contain all features of Pro version, but it will be multi merchant, allowing you to create multiple merchants each running separate affiliate program.
Very probably there will be some features to share affiliates between different merchants, there could be a feature to manage affiliate's access to campaigns (optionaly they'll have to sign up for campaign and be accepted by merchant), etc.
The features are in planing now, so not everything is clear.
If you have some ideas that you want to see there you can let me know.
