OS Commerce install

Hello ,

I`ve tried installing this module (free) with Os Commerce and got a lot of errors , probably because , there`s a lot of stuff goin on with the code already (oscommerce) .

Anyway I put the include text at the bottom of the index page instead and and the modifed check1.php (like in your example with the if ($ref) in the checkout file. This did an excellent job for the errors who dissapeared, but when adding a test affiliate and tried the new http://www.yourdomain.com/index.php?ref=username it messed up the whole page and more error occured. Is it not compatible with the os code or what do you think ????

Unfortunately I dont have the error code because I paniced and change it back to the old file since it is a liveshop.

An update to my topic above,

I do not want to use the os integrated install as shoved in your install docs because I don`t want to mess with that , also I`m not using the same database as for oscommerce.....

I'm not sure if you are talking about free or commercial version of POST Affiliate, because they are quite different.

But I don't know how can I help you unless I'll be able to see the error messages.
Where the errors occured, on index.php page?
If you don't want to touch the live system, you can copy the index.php file to index2.php, and include the code into this file. It should work the same and we'll be able to see the errors..
