There are a lot of antivirus, firewall, navigation bar that refused the cookie registration. I think will be a good thing to track the click with IP too. If PostAfilliate don't find the cookie check the IP and register the sales.

Hello,

yes, IP tracking should track sales. Clicks don't need to be tracked by IP.

It works as following:
- system first checks if cookie exists. If yes, it will register sale using information from cookie

- if not, it will fall back to IP tracking. It will try to find last click from the same IP address as IP address of actual sale within the specified period of time (for example last 24 hours).
If such click is found, then affiliate who referred this click will get this commission.

If it doesn't register sale for you, it can have several reasons:
1. sale was not called from the same IP address. For example, tracking by IP will not work with PayPal because it uses special processing

2. maybe your period for clicks tracking is too small, and customer clicked on affiliate banner before this period.

hope it helps,
