Can I affiliate specific items on my site?

I'm looking at setting up an affiliate system on my site where I currently offer about 8 items.

With affiliate pro can I give my future vendors the option of selecting the itmes they want to affiliate sell from their site or do they simply affiliate to my site?

And on a slightly different topic :D , does anyone know if the affiliate links classify as links with regards to search engines?

Hello,

you can define banners/links to point directly to your items, or to your site, it is up to you.

The affiliates can choose any banners and items they want and propagate them on their sites.

If there will be no special customization made, your affiliates will get commission for selling anything from your site, not only the products they propagated, because the commission is dependent on banner clicked, and is applied for every sale.


Regarding search engines - it is quite difficult to say, it probably depends on every search engine. I would say that they should classify as links to your site.
