Help in Understanding Post Affiliate Pro software

Please post and help me! Don't just read my post. I am a newbie to PAP it is loaded on my site by someone else loaded it. I need help getting started. How do I register a company that wants to be an affiliate? boy am I lost, I would appreciate any help. thanks, Dave:)

Hello,
for this action you just need to use a signup form. PAP have 3 default signup forms. You can find them at www.your_site/affiliate_directory/

When anybody will fill out a proper data from this form, they will be registered as your affiliate automatically.

Thanks drakeman for your reply. But, I went there and I am not a html person. It totally confused me. I have downloaded the users guide, but if you don't know html, I think your out of luck. Please tell me what I can do to get this software up and running, I have an affiliate ready to go, but still don't know how to register him. Dave

This site taught me a lot about html code and I am an ignorant when it comes to html as well.

Also, you can add affiliates in manually until you get your site up and running. Or direct them to a sign up form (www.yoursite.com/affiliate/affsignup.php). It may be a generic form right now but once you learn a little html you can tweak it to your liking.

Make sure that your sign up URL in TOOL>SETTINGS>URLS & DIRECTORIES is pointing to the sign up form that you are using for affiliates to join (type in the URL I put in above and this should work).

Under TOOLS>AFFILIATE SIGN UP you can customize the form more to your needs.
