Your installation documentation requires that I create a new mysql database called postaff. Can your affiliate software configuration be changed to a database name other than postaff?
Thank you,
Rafael

Hello,
you can create database with any name, or you can use the existing one. You will specify the name during the installation.

We installed the software in "postaffpro" directory. We want to change the directory now to "affiliates". What do we need to do for the change?

There is a file under the "settings" directory called "settings.php".
In that file is the database details that PAP uses to connect to your database. Once you change the name of the database, you'll have to edit this file to tell PAP to use the new name rather than the old one.

Hello,
if you are changing only folder name (not database) then it is sfficient to move the files to the new folder (or rename folder), then log in to merchant panel , go to Settings and change all URLs and paths to the new directory.

Mark's right, and I apologize for missing the fact that you were asking about the directory rather than the database itself.

Thank you for your input. Do you know exactly which setting in the software that would need to be changed?

Hello,
it's only settings in main System settings tab, like URL to banners, scripts, exports directory and signup script.
