Features that could help in Support Center:

-Posibility of Links in User or Ticket Custom Field to add more info or something in other pages.

-User Groups. To group users and list this together.(We are now using a custom field for that).

yes, custom fields could be used for grouping of users and tickets - you used right feature in SupportCenter for that.

Custom fields contains now also new field type: Computed text, where you can store variables, and in this way you can generate e.g. html link with user_id or email of customer or any value from his custom field
