View Full Version : Installation problem

14th September 2007, 06:00 PM
I'm trying to install the free version, but our server is only running MySQL 4.025 instead of 4.1xx, so it won't complete the install. I've been trying to work this out with our hosting company, but they're rather dense. Is there any way to get the free version to work with MySQL 4.025? I realize the free version (being free) isn't supported, but figured I'd ask. Thanks

We support also free version if you have simple questions like this and you don't require from us e.g. complete installation.

I'm sorry, but MySql 4.1 or higher is requirement, because we use subselects and versions prior 4.1 doesn't support it.

You will need to force your hosting company to be more flexible.
Also version, which you have is not very powerful comparing to newer versions of Mysql, so there is next reason why to upgrade your mysql
