View Full Version : Check Box in Custom Fields

Hello,

I think i located a bug and i was wondering if there is a solution to this problem as i need it ASAP.

When i create a Check Box in the custom fields and click on the Save button when modifying the ticket it says that the ticket was saved but when i go back to view it again the Check Box is not checked.

I would be really pleased if someone can help me to resolve this problem.
I want the checkbox to be checked when i save it.
I tried it on the demo website here and it does the same problem, so its not an issue from my side.

Please advice.

Hello,

Thank you for reporting this problem. I will try to resolve it today and in next update it should be fixed.

Next release we plan for beginning of next week (3-4 days)

Hello,

How can I simulate this problem ?
Which version of SupportCenter you have ?

I tried work flow you described and it works correctly at my installation of newest SupportCenter.

Please let me know more detailed description how to simulate this.

Try creating a Custom Field related to the Ticket and of a Check Box Format.

Then when you login as Agent, and you check it, and then click on Save Custom Fields it doesnt save the value.

I have created one in your Demo Site so you can check it out. It has name: Check Box Test: and you can see it in the Custom Fields when you login as Admin/Agent.

Then go to one of the existing tickets in the Demo site, press on Show Custom fields, click on the Check Box and press save values. Then go back and go again to the same ticket to see that the value is not checked/saved.

Please advice.

Thank you, I will try to simulate it.
If I will find the reason of problem, I will add bugfix to next release.

I tested the feature also in our demo and it works correctly.
e.g. check your checkbox in ticket number AFX-nmUXB-546

Maybe your problem is browser related. Which browser do you use ?
I used Firefox during testing.

I found the problem you reported in IE
I will fix that today.

Problem is fixed and in this week's release will be available for you.

Value was just not displayed as checked in IE, but it was saved correctly to database.
