POP3 error

Victor,

Thanks for this AWESOME software. I am having an issue with the POP3 setup. I have input my account info and setup the cron job. However, I am getting the following error in the logs:

Failed to login to pop3 server: mail.carol.com and username helpdesk with error message: User error: Command is not valid in this state.

Any ideas on what might be wrong? My mail server is Exchange 2007 and I have verified that POP3 is running.

Never mind my question. I see now that Exchange 2007 reuqires SSL for POP3, so the checkbox needs to be checked in the mail account setup. You also need to change the port # to 995 (from 110). Then it works as it should.

Just small additional Note:

If you need SSL support for connection to POP3 servers,
you have to got on your server installed correctly php extension openssl

You can always check if ssl is supported in your php by small test located in SupportCenter: /server/test_ssl.php
