With the HTML being interpreted on the client side vice the server side. Maybe this isn't needed.
It's pretty standard these days to protect sign-up pages with a captcha image to prevent non-human registrations. Just like is used at the bottom of these topic submission pages 8)
Thank you for your suggestion, we will add it to development plan

When can this be expected?
Also, besides requiring it to register, it would be nice if captcha could be required before someone could submit a ticket.

I think this should be optional on/off as I wouldnt need this as we use it as an intranet application.

I second that as sending a query equals registration.

Really need this addition to the support center too. Our spammers get a new user account every time - which is rubbish ;)
Any idea when please?

this feature will be implemented in SupportCenter running on new framework - in current framework we don't plan to implement it.
Expectation - end of year 2008 or 1Q of 2009

That is a real shame that you won't be implementing it into the current framework.
Having had a look at the code it doesn't look too difficult to implement, but maybe I am missing something not knowing how your application backend fully works. If you could point me to where in the code I could start from I would be happy to have a go at adding the CAPTCHA feature.
I look forward to hearing from you :)

In new framework we have already implemented new Captcha protection. I'm sorry, current version we don't plan to extend with this feature, because it will be wasting of development resources, which we plan to invest into new version.
I believe, that you will profit from new version much more.
It will be based on same framework as is PostAffiliate Xpress ... take a look on demo:
