Ok, Everything about this proggy looks great so far, and all my questions have been answered promptly. :D I have one more question/concern:

What we're planning to do is set this affiliate program up to pay out commissions to our affiliates strictly on a per sale basis, as soon as the client has obtained our service. We'd like a two-tier setup with three categories. Category 1 will receive 5%, and not have the option of referring subaffiliates. Category 2 will receive 10%, and 5% of their sub affiliates referrals. Category 3 will receive 10%, 5% of their sub affilates referrals, and 10% of any recurring fees for monthly services received by the client.

However, we only want the subaffiliate tiers 2 levels deep. Example: If Affiliate A recruits Affiliate B, then Affiliate A receives commissions when Affilate B refers a client. When Affiliate B recruits Affiliate C, then Affiliate B receives a commssion when Affiliate C refers a client, but Affiliate A will not receive commissions when Affiliate C sends a referral. Confusing to explain, but seems to be a much more simple way to make everyone happy without the company ending up with only 10% of the original fee after 10 tiers of affiaites all get their piece. This also helps us to keep our fees to client much lower than the latter, and saves us bookkeeping headaches.

Now I'm going to use the same scenario above for the explanation of how we'd like the commission schedule structured. If Affiliate C sends us a client that pays a fee of $2000, then Affiliate C would receive 10% commission (considering they're a Category 3 affiliate) which would equal $200. Being that Afiliate C is a subaffiliate of Affiliate B, then Affiliate B would receive a commission of $10 for Affiliate C's referral. Of course, Affiliate A would not receive commssions from Affiliate C, only Affiliate B(explained above). Note that Affiliate B's commisions was 5% of Affi
liate C's commission, not 5% of the fee charged to the client.

This is the ideal scenario, and what we're looking to your scripts to perform for us. Is this setup at all possible? Would there be any complications? I'm not sure exactly how your script calculates the commission structures or controls the affiliate tiers. But, of course, I would like to know if it can handle the job before purchasing and advertising. Thanks for all your help thus far, and we look forward to becoming another client among your list.

Sorry for late reply, but I replied to you in email already. I'm posting this to the forum only for the others.

The system can work as you described, but it will require some customizations.

There are two main differences from how it works now:
1. % commissions are computed from total sale amount, not from commission of parent affiliate
(In the new version there will be a switch in Settings about this)

2. you cannot restrict in the system if affiliate can refer
subaffiliates or not.
