cookie for sale/lead transaction

I want to create a program that it records is the sales that the lead.
But if the system deletes cookie after the sale/lead transaction, i cannot make it.

Is one solution in order to manage the recording sale and lead
avoiding double recordings ?



example:
1) arrives a customer from an affiliate and hi is registrer to the web-site. PAP Registry the lead.
2) the customer carries out a purchase. Registry the sale
3) Between 10 days the customer carries out a new purchase, does not have to record the sale.


a) if the system deletes cookie after the sale/lead transaction, PAP Registry only the lead.
b) if the system don't deletes cookie after the sale/lead transaction, PAP Registry lead, first sale, second sale ecc ecc

If you don't want to delete cookies after sale/lead, please go to
Tools > Settings > Tracking & Cookies and uncheck "Delete cookie after sale/lead" function and then in campaign settings you can define cookies length.
